Arpit & Rushita — Maidenhead Town Hall & Pinewood Hotel Wedding Photography

Some wedding days just have an energy to them from the very first moment. Arpit and Rushita's was one of those days.

From the second I arrived at Maidenhead Town Hall, I could feel it. The guests were buzzing, the couple were laughing — genuinely laughing, the kind that makes everyone around them smile too. Arpit and Rushita are one of those couples who are just completely themselves around each other, and as a photographer that's everything. You can't manufacture that kind of chemistry. You just have to be ready to capture it.

Their wedding day covered two stunning Berkshire locations — the registry ceremony at Maidenhead Town Hall followed by an evening reception at the Pinewood Hotel. Two completely different atmospheres. One intimate and historic, the other vibrant and celebratory. Both absolutely beautiful to photograph.

The Registry Ceremony — Maidenhead Town Hall

Maidenhead Town Hall sits in the heart of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead — a beautifully preserved building with real character. The ceremony room is intimate by design, which means every emotion in that room is right there in front of you. No hiding. No distance. Just the couple, their closest people, and the moment.

The natural light through the windows on the day was incredible — soft and warm, the kind of light that makes every image feel timeless without a single edit needed. Rushita's lehenga caught it perfectly. Arpit looked like he couldn't believe how lucky he was. Honestly, same.

But the moment I'll remember from Maidenhead Town Hall? The confetti exit.

I've photographed a lot of confetti exits. This one was different. The second Arpit and Rushita stepped through that door, the whole crowd erupted. Cannons firing, confetti everywhere, everyone cheering. And the two of them — just beaming. Walking through it like they owned the world. It was electric. Genuinely one of the best frames I've ever captured.

For couples considering Maidenhead Town Hall for their registry ceremony, it offers a historic setting with genuine warmth, professional and friendly staff, easy access for guests, and real photographic character — both inside and in the grounds around the building.

The Black Door Portraits

Between the ceremony and the reception I always try to steal a few minutes with the couple. Away from the family, away from the guests, just the two of them. This is where you get to see who they really are together.

We found a classic black door nearby — simple, clean, timeless. I told them to just have fun with it. They didn't need telling twice. The dip shot, the laughing portraits, the ring over shoulder — every frame came naturally because Arpit and Rushita are just easy to photograph. They're comfortable together in a way that shows in every single image.

This is why I always build portrait time into the day. These images become the ones couples treasure most — not because they're the most dramatic, but because they capture something true.

The Evening Reception — Pinewood Hotel, Berkshire

By the time the evening arrived at the Pinewood Hotel, the energy had shifted completely. If the ceremony was intimate, the reception was pure celebration. The room was full, the music was loud, and Arpit and Rushita's guests were ready to party.

The Pinewood Hotel handled everything beautifully. The event spaces are genuinely versatile — the room worked perfectly for the formal entrance, the speeches, the first dance and the dancing that followed. The lighting throughout the evening gave everything a warm, cinematic quality that I love to work with.

The first dance was one of those moments where the whole room goes quiet and everyone holds their breath. And then the fairy lights caught them at just the right moment — the two of them lost in their own world while their family and friends watched on. That frame sums up everything about who Arpit and Rushita are together.

What followed was hours of dancing, laughter, and the kind of joy that you can't choreograph. I just kept shooting.

Asian Wedding Photography in Berkshire — What to Look For

Indian and Asian weddings have a rhythm and energy that requires a photographer who understands both the cultural traditions and the spontaneous moments in between. Having photographed Asian weddings across Berkshire, London, and Oxford, I've learned that the best images come from knowing when to direct and when to simply watch.

For couples planning their Asian or Indian wedding in Berkshire or the surrounding areas, here's what genuinely makes a difference: choose a photographer who has shot your type of wedding before, who understands the key moments you can't miss, and who you actually feel comfortable with. The couple portraits only work if you trust the person behind the camera.

I cover Asian, Indian, Hindu, Sikh, and Muslim Nikkah weddings across Berkshire, London, Oxford, and the wider UK. If you're planning your wedding and want to see more of my work, visit the portfolio page or get in touch directly.
